ABOUT US
4RHC began with a grant from Catholic Health Initiatives to Holy Rosary Medical Center in 2003. We are a member-driven organization. Click HERE to download a copy of our bylaws.
Our task was to build a local Healthy Community Coalition and hold a stakeholder summit to create a shared vision of community health. This would set the stage for asset mapping, priority setting and action planning.
Stakeholder Summits in 2003 and 2004 focused our attention on the environment, learning, business and economic development, the arts and culture, health, and well being.
This fostered ideas for action, including family oriented recreation, clean water for drinking and recreation, greenbelt trails, lifelong learning opportunities, and becoming a magnet community for business.
4RHC obtained our 501(c)3 nonprofit status in 2005, allowing continued support of numerous community projects.

In 2015, 4RHC began the process to create a community foundation to support more projects in the community.

In 2019, initial fundraising was completed for the endowment that will be used as the Four Rivers Community Foundation.
